COMPLIANCE & AFSS

The NSW Government requires the AFSS to be endorsed by a Competent Fire Safety Practitioner (CFSP) – “Fire Safety Assessor”.
Any party that endorses (signs off) an Essential Fire Safety Measure (EFSM) on an AFSS must have a CFSP accreditation number and the appropriate accreditation.
The accreditation is either “Unrestricted” or “Restricted”.
“Unrestricted” indicates the person/company can endorse every statutory EFSM.

AFT has attained unrestricted accreditation.

“Restricted” will indicate that the person/company can only endorse the EFSM‘s for which accreditation has been attained.

The building Owner should check to ensure their fire service providers have the appropriate accreditation – which marries up with the EFSM’s being endorsed on the AFSS on any given property.

AFT Fire’s key staff are registered CFSP’s – “Fire Safety Assessors”
Our testing staff are accredited for “Inspect and Test” activities.
We can legitimately endorse the Annual Fire Safety Statement.
AFT Fire Protection has “Recognised Business” status – as determined by the Fire Protection Association of Australia.
