1998 – Innovation First – Flexi-Dropper™
Also known as a flexible sprinkler dropper, is a game-changing hose assembly that connects fire sprinkler heads to the main water supply. Unlike traditional rigid piping, this flexible solution allows for faster installation, effortless navigation around structural obstacles, significant reductions in labour and installation costs
At AFT, we’re proud to have pioneered the introduction of flexible sprinkler dropper technology in Australia—transforming sprinkler system installations with unmatched speed, versatility, and precision
2013 – 5 Yearly Hydrant Booster Flow Testing – introducing our fire truck
During firefighting operations, the fire brigade relies on hydrant systems, and the Fire Brigade Booster plays a critical role by allowing crews to inject water into the system as required.
Before 2013, Sydney lacked a reliable service for 5-Yearly Hydrant Booster Flow Tests. We filled that gap, by using ex-Fire Brigade pumpers to simulate real emergency conditions and ensure hydrant systems deliver water effectively to the most remote points. This year, we completed our 2,000th Booster Flow Test, setting the industry benchmark.
2020 – Expansion
We expanded our testing and maintenance reach into the Hunter Region, Newcastle, Wollongong and the Southern Highlands —bringing our trusted services to even more communities.
